Negi Slams Jai Ram Thakur for Spreading Misinformation, Highlights Government Achievements

Shimla, 14th November 2024: Revenue, Horticulture, and Tribal Development Minister Jagat Singh Negi has criticized former Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur for allegedly disrespecting the traditions of Devbhoomi Himachal and spreading misleading propaganda about the state. Negi highlighted key achievements of the government, including the Sukh-Aashray Yojna for homeless and orphaned children, Himachal’s leadership in providing Minimum Support Price for cow and buffalo milk, and support for naturally produced wheat and maize.

Negi emphasized that the government fulfilled its five guarantees within 20 months, including the Old Pension Scheme, the Indira Gandhi Pyari Behna Sukh Samman Nidhi Yojna for eligible women, and the Rs 680 crore Rajiv Gandhi Startup Yojna with subsidies on e-vehicles for youth. He called on Thakur to focus on facts and refrain from damaging the state’s image.
