Deva Raj, the head of Karasa Panchayat in Rohru Block, Shimla, has been suspended for irregularities in MGNREGA and 15th Finance Commission development works from 2020 to 2024. The Deputy Commissioner, Anupam Kashyap, issued the suspension order after a 135-page investigation report confirmed financial misconduct.
