Master Trainer Program for Hazard-Resistant Construction Begins at JUIT

The Civil Engineering Department of JUIT, in collaboration with DDMA Shimla, launched a training program for engineers focused on hazard-resistant safe construction practices. The initiative, supported by Deputy Commissioner Mr. Anupam Kashyap, aims to enhance disaster resilience through practical and theoretical training. The event was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor Prof. RK Sharma, with key addresses by Dr. Tanmay Gupta and Prof. Ashok Gupta. The training will equip 26 engineers from Shimla District with essential skills for safe construction in disaster-prone regions.
