IPS Officers Transferred in Himachal Pradesh in Public Interest

Shimla, October 1, 2024: In a partial modification of the previous notification dated September 25, 2024, and based on the recommendations of the Civil Services Board, the Governor of Himachal Pradesh has approved the transfer and posting of the following Indian Police Service (IPS) officers with immediate effect, in the public interest:

1. Shri Rajesh Kumar, IPS (HP:2018), currently serving as Commandant, Home Guards, Civil Defence & Fire Services, Shimla, has been transferred as Superintendent of Police (Leave Reserve), Police Headquarters, Shimla.

2. Shri Abhishek, IPS (HP:2021), who was previously ordered to transfer as Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO), Amb, District Una, will now assume the role of SDPO, Baddi, Police District Baddi, Himachal Pradesh.

In light of this, Shri Khazana Ram, HPPS (2012), who was serving as SDPO, Baddi, has been directed to report to the Police Headquarters, Shimla immediately.

These transfers have been implemented to ensure effective administration and operational efficiency in public safety across the state.
