Public Works and Urban Development Minister Vikramaditya Singh clarified that his party’s ideology and the welfare of Himachal Pradesh are his top priorities. Addressing the media at Holly Lodge, he expressed disappointment over attempts to politicize and communalize his recent statement. He also discussed the state’s law for street vendors and emphasized the upcoming committee meeting on October 3, headed by Minister Harshwardhan Chauhan, to discuss revisions.

Singh denied rumors about being summoned to Delhi, stating that his visit was for a scheduled meeting with the Railway Chairman, where he secured permission for a long-pending overbridge near the Assembly. He affirmed his loyalty to the party’s leadership and his dedication to the state’s development. Additionally, Singh expressed joy over the decision to install a statue of his late father, Virbhadra Singh, on the Ridge in Shimla, calling it a tribute to the state’s sentiments.
