State Government Resolves 1,87,565 Revenue Cases through Special Lok Adalats since October 2023: CM

Shimla – Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu announced that since the launch of the ‘Revenue Lok Adalats’ initiative in October 2023, the state government has resolved a total of 1,87,565 revenue cases. This includes 1,63,268 mutations, 9,417 partitions, 12,453 demarcations, and 2,427 revenue correction cases.

In July 2024 alone, the special Lok Adalat drives on the 30th and 31st disposed of 10,746 mutation cases, 408 partitions, 541 demarcations, and ensured 131 revenue corrections. Additionally, the month saw the resolution of 16,514 mutations, 554 partitions, 2,142 demarcations, and 464 revenue correction cases, totaling 31,500 revenue cases.

The Chief Minister highlighted the success of this initiative, noting its effectiveness in resolving a significant number of pending revenue cases promptly. The Revenue Lok Adalats are now conducted on the last two working days of each month to ensure swift redressal of revenue-related grievances.

Sukhu emphasized the state’s commitment to providing quality services and addressing public grievances promptly as a testament to good governance.
