Government to Compensate Kunihar-Nalagarh Road Damage: Sanjay Awasthi

Shimla, June 24, 2024: Sanjay Awasthi, MLA and Working President of the Congress Party, expressed deep sorrow over the damage caused by heavy rains near Gambar Pul on the Kunihar-Nalagarh road in the Arki Assembly constituency of Solan district. Awasthi assured the affected families of all possible financial assistance after a residential house suffered significant damage due to the rains.

Awasthi announced that a team from the administration has been dispatched to assess the damage, and orders have been given to compensate for the losses. He also assured that the state government would provide all possible help to the affected people. He thanked God for preventing any loss of life but expressed deep regret over the property damage and assured compensation for the losses incurred due to the heavy rains.

Awasthi mentioned that the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, is highly serious about addressing the damages caused by natural disasters and is committed to providing every possible assistance to the affected families.

He urged the public to remain vigilant and cautious during the monsoon season and to inform the authorities immediately in case of any disaster risks. He also appealed to the people to stay away from rivers and streams during this period.
