BUEST’s NSS Students Fostering Knowledge, Debate, and Civic Engagement

The fifth day of the NSS camp began with an informative session on common diseases, presented by Ms. Rajni from the Buest College of Nursing. Her comprehensive lecture covered disease prevention, symptoms, and treatments, equipping participants with valuable insights into maintaining good health.
NSS PO Ankita Thakur followed with a detailed briefing on NSS Certification, highlighting its significance and benefits for the students.
After a rejuvenating lunch break, the camp resumed with a lively debate competition. Participants engaged passionately on the topics “Viksit Bharat” (Developed India) and “Swachh Bharat” (Clean India), showcasing their public speaking skills and knowledge. The debate was adjudicated by Student Welfare Officer Sushma Singh and NSS Coordinator Gurbaksh Kaur, emphasizing the importance of national development and cleanliness.
Following the debate, Ms. Sushma Singh addressed the students, commending their active participation and emphasizing the impact of their discussions on societal progress. She encouraged them to continue contributing to initiatives like Swachh Bharat for a cleaner and developed nation.
Day 5 of the NSS camp concluded with enriched knowledge, enhanced skills, and a deeper sense of civic responsibility among the participants. The day’s events reinforced the camp’s mission to educate and empower youth through informative sessions and engaging debates. As participants departed, they carried with them a strengthened commitment to contribute positively to their communities and the nation at large.
