National Law University organizes a Quiz Competition ‘Cine-Juris’ themed on Legal Cinema

Legal News Committee in collaboration with the Quiz Committee (Enigma) of Himachal Pradesh National Law University, Shimla, organized the quiz competition ‘Cine Juris’ on May 31, 2024. Cine Juris was themed around the exploration of ‘Legal Cinema,’ celebrating the intersection of law and film in the spirit of academic engagement and cultural appreciation.
The intellectually stimulating event witnessed the participation of 20 students from various academic years of the university. After a series of challenging rounds and intense competition, Aakash Sharma stood victorious, demonstrating exceptional knowledge and analytical skills. Pratham Rajpoot emerged as the runner up.
The event highlighted the university’s commitment to fostering a holistic learning environment that goes beyond traditional legal studies. It provided a platform for students to delve into the portrayal of legal concepts in cinema, encouraging critical thinking and a deeper understanding of the law.
The quiz was meticulously organized under the guidance of the faculty coordinators, Dr. Ruchi Gupta, Dr. Ambika, Dr. Bharat Barowalia, Dr. Mrityunjay Kumar, and Dr. Aayush Raj.
