JUIT Hosts Transformative Workshop on NEP Reforms

Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT), located in Solan, Himachal Pradesh, recently spearheaded a groundbreaking Workshop cum Seminar, focusing on the pivotal reforms in secondary and higher education post the enactment of the New Education Policy (NEP).
Under the visionary leadership of Prof. R K Sharma, Vice Chancellor of JUIT, along with esteemed dignitaries including Registrar Major General (Retd) Rakesh Bassi, and Dean (A & R) Prof. AK Gupta, the event served as a beacon for meaningful dialogue and collaboration among educational stakeholders.
The seminar commenced with enlightening keynote talks by renowned speakers such as Prof. S K Khah, Dr. Rajesh Rana, and Prof. R K Bajaj, shedding light on the significance of NEP reforms and their potential impact on the educational landscape, particularly emphasizing areas like Cyber Security.
Principals from schools spanning Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh, shared invaluable insights and experiences, deliberating on the effective implementation of NEP reforms at the grassroots level. Amidst engaging discussions, challenges, opportunities, and strategies for adapting to the new policy framework were thoroughly examined.
Furthermore, the event facilitated extensive networking opportunities, fostering collaboration and idea exchange among educational stakeholders. A campus tour provided principals with firsthand exposure to various departments at JUIT, including Biotechnology, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Civil Engineering.
