Himachal Pradesh University Announces Schedule for Entrance Examinations

The schedule for entrance examinations for undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses being conducted on campus for the academic session 2024-25 at Himachal Pradesh University has been released. The entrance exams for the new session will commence from May 16, with the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) entrance exam continuing until June 6.
Professor BK Shivram, the university’s dean of studies, has released the schedule.
The schedule, uploaded on the university’s website for the information of common students, includes the following dates:
– May 16: Entrance exams for MTech, BBA, and UIT’s BTech courses, along with HP University Management Entrance Test (HPUMET) 2024 for University Business School’s MBA course.
– May 17: Entrance exams for MCA, M.A. Public Administration, M.Sc. and B.Sc. (Hons.) Biotechnology.
– May 17: Entrance exams for Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM), Master of Tourism Administration (MTA), Master of Computer Applications (MCA), and Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA).
– May 18 and 19: Ground tests for Master in Physical Education (M.P.Ed).
– May 20: Entrance exams for M.A. Yoga, M.Ed, and M.A. Sociology courses.
– May 21: Entrance exams for MSc Chemistry, Zoology, MSc Mathematics, and M.A. Political Science.
– May 24: Entrance exams for M.A. English and LLM.
– May 25: Entrance exams for M.A. Economics, M.A. History, M.A. Psychology.
– May 27: Entrance exams for M.P.Ed, M.Sc. Microbiology, and M.Sc. Biotechnology.
– May 28: Entrance exams for M.A. Social Work, M.A. Geography, M.A. Visual Arts, and Performing Arts Music.
– May 29: Entrance exams for M.A. Rural Development, M.A. Journalism & Mass Communication, and M.Tech Computer Science.
– May 30: Entrance exams for M.Sc. Environmental Science, MBA Rural Development, and M.B.A. Agribusiness.
– May 30: Entrance exams for MFA Painting & Sculpture, M.Sc. Environmental Science, and MBA Rural Development.
– June 6: Entrance exams for affiliated B.Ed colleges for the new session.
The LLB course entrance exam for the session 2024-25 will take place on September 16.
