BJP: Party Dedicated to India’s Strength, Prosperity, and Cultural Values Says Bindal
3 min readShimla, April 6 – The Bharatiya Janata Party’s Foundation Day is being celebrated across the country today at every booth. In Himachal Pradesh, the BJP’s Foundation Day will be celebrated at all 7990 booths. The Bharatiya Janata Party is a party dedicated to making India a powerful nation, a prosperous nation, a nation that upholds its cultural values, and a party that works for the development of every individual in the country, especially those at the grassroots level.
In the journey from 1980 to 2024, spanning 44 years, the party has achieved significant milestones. Starting as a party with only 2 MPs, it has now reached 303 MPs and is set to become a party with 370 MPs in the current year. The party has been actively involved in forming governments in 20 states, contributing to the nation-building goals. With its membership, the Bharatiya Janata Party has become the world’s largest political party, and its leaders have gained international recognition.
The BJP has played a crucial role in constructing the grand Ram temple at the site of Lord Ram’s birth after a struggle of 500 years. It also achieved the goal of abolishing Article 370, and it has showcased the sacrifices of the great heroes who fought for the country’s independence, such as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Maharana Pratap, Shri Guru Govind Singh Ji Maharaj, and others, to the public.
Contrasting the BJP’s dedication to national interests, the Congress party, which was once India’s largest political party and is responsible for the country’s independence, has seen a decline in its stature. From a party with over 450 MPs, it has now fallen to around 40 MPs and is expected to decline further in 2024. This decline is attributed to factors such as dynastic politics, individualism, neglect of national interests, and disregard for the nation’s core values.
It is time to reflect on what the Nehru-Gandhi family has contributed to the nation. Jawaharlal Nehru’s greatest contribution was the partition of the country. While Mahatma Gandhi had foreseen the partition, Nehru swiftly carried it out, leading to the exodus and massacre of millions of Hindus and other citizens, tarnishing the motherland’s integrity.
In 1948, when Pakistan attacked Kashmir, Nehru chose to hand over Kashmir to Pakistan instead of giving a fitting reply, resulting in ongoing strife and the loss of thousands of lives. Similarly, during the India-China war in 1962, Nehru ceded 40,000 square miles of Himalayan territory to China, leading to a permanent military threat from China.
Indira Gandhi imposed an emergency in the country in 1975, ending democracy. She imprisoned over 125,000 leaders, censored the media, and established a dictatorship. The misuse of Article 356 by the Nehru-Gandhi family was rampant, often to topple democratically elected governments. They also constantly undermined relationships with Sri Lanka, Pakistan, China, Nepal, and Myanmar.
The Nehru-Gandhi family used false slogans, promises, and assurances to manipulate the public and treat elections as a mere vote bank. They promised to eradicate poverty within 100 days, gain 400 seats, and then ignored the poor. They promised to end inflation within 100 days, gained power, and increased inflation tenfold.
The Congress party has become synonymous with corruption, and at every level, the Congress is responsible for corruption. Over time, many good leaders left the Congress party and formed their own parties. Despite being called Congress (A) or Congress (B), they all crossed the limits of selfishness.
Today, once again, ahead of the 2024 elections, the BJP has brought a basket full of false guarantees and promises before the public. The false guarantees and promises will not be accepted in the court of the people.
Dr. Bindal emphasized that these false guarantees and promises will not hold up in the people’s court.
