HP State Cooperative Bank Expands its Reach with Khatnol Branch Inauguration

In a significant development for the residents of Khatnol village, GP: Khatnol, Pargana Chautha in Shimla Grameen, the HP State Cooperative Bank inaugurated its new branch today. Hari Krishan Himral, Director of HP State Cooperative Bank, presided over the local inauguration at around 11:30 am, while the online inauguration of all 22 new branches across the state was conducted by the Honorable Chief Minister, Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, from Oak Over. The event witnessed the presence of Cabinet Ministers Jagat Singh Negi, Rohit Thakur, Rajesh Dharmani, Nand Lal, CPS Mohan Lal Brakta, Chairman Davender Shyam, and MD Shrawan Manta.

Addressing the public gathering in Khatnol, Hari Krishan Himral extended his congratulations to the people of the three panchayats of Pargana Chautha. He acknowledged that the long-standing demand of the community has been fulfilled, attributing the success to the efforts of Sh. Vikramaditya Singh, PWD and UD Minister, and the Bank Chairman, Davender Shyam, along with its Board of Directors.

Himral emphasized the crucial role of the financial institution in meeting the demands of rural communities. He highlighted that the opening of the bank in this remote village would stimulate business opportunities, including tourism, animal husbandry, and horticulture in the region.

Various local representatives, including Panchayat Pradhan Puran Das Sharma, Pradhan Majehwar Manoj Verma, BDC member Mohinder Sharma, Captain Krishan Thakur, Adv. Lal Singh Thakur, Ghanshyam Himral, and B. R. Chandel, expressed their gratitude during the public meeting. They thanked the Honorable Chief Minister, PWD Minister, Chairman Davender Shyam, and particularly Er. Hari Krishan Himral for their influential roles in establishing the new branch in Khatnol.
