Una, February 3 – The District Magistrate, Jatin Lal, has issued an order under Sections 115 and 116 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, pertaining to the utilization of powers conferred, announcing the closure of the road from Panjoa to Baduhi on February 6. The closure will be in effect from 7 AM to 6 PM.
This order has been issued in the context of the ongoing forest guard recruitment drive in the Amb and Bharwain forest ranges. The road closure aims to facilitate the running test for both male and female candidates covering a distance of 5000/1500 meters.
Jatin Lal emphasized the importance of conducting a fair and efficient running test for the recruitment of forest guards. He urged the cooperation of the public and advised commuters to plan alternative routes or adjust their schedules accordingly on the specified date.
This decision aligns with the district administration’s commitment to transparent and accountable recruitment processes. Any inconvenience caused due to the temporary road closure is regretted, and the authorities assure that normal traffic will resume post the scheduled testing period.
