THDC India Limited Inaugurates Vigilance Awareness Week 2023 in Rishikesh
2 min readRishikesh, October 30, 2023: The Chairman & Managing Director of THDC India Limited, Mr. R. K. Vishnoi, formally launched Vigilance Awareness Week 2023 at an inaugural ceremony held at the Corporate Office in Ganga Bhawan, Rishikesh. The event was attended by esteemed directors, including Mr. J. Behera, Director (Finance), who administered the Integrity Pledge to employees in the presence of Mr. Shallinder Singh, Director (Personnel).
Mr. Vishnoi also explained that the Central Vigilance Commission organizes Vigilance Awareness Week annually during the week of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s birthday. This year, the Commission selected the theme “Say No to Corruption, Commit to the Nation” for Vigilance Awareness Week 2023, which will be observed from October 30 to November 5.
During this significant event, Mr. J. Behera, Director (Finance), and Mr. Shallinder Singh, Director (Personnel), unveiled an important booklet titled “सजगता एवं सतर्कता; राष्ट्र हित के लिए प्रतिबद्धता” (Vigilance and Alertness; Commitment to the Nation’s Welfare), underlining the commitment to vigilance and integrity for the betterment of the nation. The ceremony was attended by senior officials of THDC India Limited, including Mr. A. B. Goel, Executive Director (Finance), Mr. Veer Singh, Chief General Manager (HR-Admin), Mr. A. K. Goel, Deputy Chief Vigilance Officer, and other officials from the Corporate Office in Rishikesh.
In a separate event, Mr. Bhupender Gupta, Director (Technical), administered the Integrity Pledge to all officers and employees during his inspection visit to the dam site of the 444 MW Vishnugad-Pipalkoti Hydro Electric Project (VPHEP) at the Alaknanda Puram campus and other project sites of THDC India Limited. In attendance were other prominent individuals, including Mr. Atul Jain, Executive Director (Technical), Mr. R. N. Singh, Officer on Special Duty (Project), Mr. K. K. Singhal, Chief General Manager (MPS), Ajay Verma (General Manager, Civil), and other senior employees.
Mr. Vishnoi emphasized that Vigilance Awareness Week at THDC India Limited signifies a period of contemplation and dedication to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and ethics in the pursuit of the nation’s welfare.
