In continuation of Wildlife Week celebrations, the second day featured a Media Workshop aimed at raising awareness about wildlife conservation. The program was presided over by Mr. Anil Thakur, the Chief Forest Officer and Principal Chief Wildlife Warden. The event saw the participation of various distinguished individuals, including Mr. N. Ravishankar, Deputy Chief Wildlife Warden, Wildlife Division, Shimla, and Mrs. Seetal Sharma, Head of the Wildlife Department at the headquarters.
The Media Workshop was organized with the primary objective of engaging with the media and promoting responsible reporting on wildlife and conservation-related matters. The workshop aimed to highlight the importance of wildlife preservation and the role media can play in creating awareness and fostering a sense of responsibility towards the protection of our natural resources.
Participants engaged in discussions and activities focused on wildlife conservation, the challenges faced by wildlife, and the importance of sustainable coexistence between humans and animals.
