Youth Goes Missing After Bathing in River Beas, Search Operation Underway

Hamirpur , Sept 08 – In a case reported under the jurisdiction of the Sujanpur police station, a young man has gone missing in the Beas River in the Daadla Bhaloth area of Panchayat Daadla Bhaloth.

According to information from local residents, four young men had ventured to the Beas River near Pung Khad for a bath from the headquarters. During this time, one of the young men was swept away by the river while bathing. The police have identified the drowned youth, who hails from Hamirpur’s Heeranagar.

The Sujanpur police have initiated a search for the missing youth and are conducting inquiries with the other young men present at the scene. Lalit Mahant, the in-charge of the police station, confirmed that efforts are underway to locate the missing individual. Additionally, the family of the missing youth has been informed, and the Sujanpur administration has been alerted. The search operation is being carried out with the assistance of local divers.
