Himachal: 13 teachers to be honoured on Teacher’s day

Shimla, September 4: The Education Department has released the list of state-level teacher awards. This year, 13 teachers from the state will be honored during the program scheduled for September 5 on Teacher’s Day at Raj Bhavan in Shimla.

A total of 40 applications were received from across the state for the state-level teacher awards this year. The State Committee of the Education Department, after reviewing the applications and considering various criteria, has selected 13 teachers for the awards. Additionally, it is noteworthy that Himachal Pradesh has only one name nominated for the National Teacher Award this year.
