Shimla: Three Killed In Road Accident

Shimla, July 21: A car went out of control and fell into a deep gorge in Chidgaon area of Rohru sub-division of capital Shimla. Three people in the car were killed in the accident that took place late on Thursday, while two others were injured. The accident took place in Khabal, a remote area of Chidgaon.
The former Pradhan and former Deputy Pradhan of Khabal Panchayat died in the accident. Late night rescue operation was carried out and the dead and injured were taken out of the ditch and taken to the hospital. Due to the difficult terrain, the administration faced difficulties in carrying out relief and rescue work. All the people in the car were residents of the same village.
Former head Khabal Prithvi Raj (32), former deputy head Khabal Satya Prakash (41), and driver Anil (32) have died in the accident. The injured include Avantika (18) and Trilok (17). All of them are residents of Saundadi village of Khabal. These people were returning from Chidgaon to their village when their car met with an accident.
