Governor takes stock of damages caused by heavy rains at Shamti in Solan

Solan, July 12 – Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla today inspected the damages caused due to heavy rains at Shamti in Solan district and gave directions to the district administration.

The Governor inspected the Solan-Rajgarh road which was blocked due to landslides caused by heavy rains in Shamti. He also met the affected families. Some houses have also been damaged due to landslides.

The Governor directed the district administration to restore the blocked road and make necessary arrangements for relief and rescue of the affected families.

He also instructed Deputy Commissioner and Superintendent of Police Solan to ensure all possible help as per manual.
