International Yoga Day celebrated at Shoolini University

Shoolni University and Shoolini Institute of Life Sciences and Business Management (SILB) celebrated the International Yoga Day by organising mass yoga sessions.
The School of Ancient Indian Wisdom and Yogic Studies organised a Common Yoga Protocol (CYP) practice Session at Milkha Singh Stadium to commemorate International Yoga Day. The chief guest of the event was Prof. Usha Tondon, Dean Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. All the faculty, staff, and students from different departments practiced CYP together.
The programme started with an explanation of the origins of Yoga Day. According to Dr. Subodh, Head of the School of Ancient Indian Wisdom and Yogic Studies, yoga practices are extremely beneficial for health and should be practiced at home by everyone.
Brig. Sunil Mehta welcomed the Chief Guest, Prof. Usha Tondon. Prof. Usha said she is highly happy to see a full-fledged department of Yoga at Shoolini University. She appreciated the yoga practice demonstrated by students and the faculty of Shoolini University
In the another Yoga session at Shoolini Institute of Life Sciences and Business Management (SILB) which was conducted by Yoga Guru Ms. Suman Rawat and her team from Shoolini University.
In the yoga session several yoga movements and asanas were performed. The yoga session was positively received by all teachers, students, and staff, including the Institute’s Chairperson, Mrs. Saroj Khosla, and Director Shalini Sharma.
While congratulating the Yoga Gurus at the end of the session, Chairperson Mrs. Saroj Khosla encouraged all Yoga practitioners to make Yoga a part of their lives. Yoga, she claims, cleanses not just the human body but also the mind. Yoga, when understood correctly, is the connection of the soul with the divine.
