Now five years instead of three to set up house or industry on land taken under section 118

Shimla, Mar 29 – President Draupadi Murmu has approved the amendment in Section 118 under the Himachal Pradesh Mujariyat and Land Reforms Bill 2022, in which instead of three years, instead of three years, five years will be given to build a house or set up industry on the land taken under this section. After getting the assent from the President, the bill was placed on the floor of the house by the secretary of the state assembly on Tuesday. This bill was passed in the year 2022 during the tenure of the Jairam government.
