CUHP will sign MoU with North-East universities regarding NEP

Dharamshala, Mar 4 – Vice Chancellor, Central University of Himachal Pradesh, who attended the 20th convocation ceremony of the Central University of Assam, Silchar as the chief guest recently said on Saturday.
that soon a group of all Himalayan and North East universities will be formed, which will sign an MoU in view of the National Education Policy 2020. He said that in this, a special area will be identified for each university, in which the Central University of Himachal Pradesh, Dharamshala will work in collaboration with research area and faculty exchange.
Pooja Awasthi Public Relations Officer CUHP told UNI that on the first day of this two-day function organized at Bipin Chandra Pal Auditorium of Assam University, Vice-Chancellor CUHP awarded degrees to more than 3000 students. The degrees of Ph.D., M.Phil, M.Sc., M.Com, MBA, M.Tech, M.Ed, MLIS, MBA, MJMC, LLB, Integrated B.Sc, Integrated BSW, Integrated BA LLB, Integrated BBA, B. Pharma etc. were conferred during the convocation.
On this occasion, the Vice-Chancellor of the Central University Himachal Pradesh, cingratulated the dianamic Vice Chancellor of Assam University Prof. Rajeev Mohan Pant for organizing this grand convocation ceremony.
He said that convocation ceremony is the most important event for any university. In this, the entire University family comes together to make this event a success.
He further said that at the same time, convocation ceremony is a very important day in the life of any student. It is a proud moment for any student when he or she gets a medal for his or ger hard work.
He congratulated and extended best wishes to all the students who were honored on this occasion. He said that it is a matter of pride for any university to bring laurels to the name of the university in various promising fields. He said that the youth is the future of the country and future of the nation is on their shoulders.
Vice Chancellor said that many provisions have been made in the National Education Policy 2020 so that no one is deprived of education and so much so a student can take education in his or her mother tongue. He said that even before this, many education policies came, but the mind of a student was considered more in the new education policy. English language or any other language will no longer come in the way of a student’s education, he said. With this new education policy, students will get morale education and Academic education both with more signs of improvement.
He thanked the Vice-Chancellor of the Central University of Assam for making him a participant in the convocation ceremony.
