Mandi – House Gutted In Fire

Mandi Jan 27- A sudden fire broke out in a house at Kandhi Kalwada under Seraj assembly constituency under Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh at 10:00 am on Friday morning turning a nine-room house into ashes. At the same time, a cowshed was also burnt. Three families have become homeless in the fire. The fire caused a loss of about Rs 21 lakh including cash. The members of the house were busy in their respective works at the time of the incident. Everyone came out as soon as they came to know about the fire. At the same time, animals were also taken out safely from the gaushala.

On the other hand, the villagers tried their best to extinguish the fire, but due to lack of water, the fire could not be controlled. In no time, the whole house got burnt. Here, on behalf of the department concerned Patwari Mahendra Kumar told that due to the fire, there was a joint house of the three families Fateh Singh, Guman Singh and Bhag Singh’s son Bhag Singh, which was completely burnt to ashes. On the other hand, on behalf of the administration, Naib Tehsildar Bagachanogi Vinod Thakur told that there has been a loss of about Rs 20 lakh due to the fire.
