Quality education is right of every child- Mukesh Agnihotri

Quality education is a must have right of every child and the present State government would leave no stone unturned to provide better and modern education facilities to all the students in the state. It will prepare students to compete in the cut throat competition and would mould their future into the right direction. This was stated by Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri while addressing students during the annual prize distribution ceremony at SD Public Senior Secondary School Palakwah at Haroli assembly constituency today.

The government is focusing on development of Infrastructure along with providing quality and modern education facilities to all the schools in State and particularly in Haroli assembly, said the Deputy CM. Three degree colleges and 33 Senior Secondary Schools in this constituency are playing pivotal roles in ensuring quality higher education to students nearer to their homes. He said that apart from shifting Bhetar Khud College to the new building the construction work of Haroli College would be completed by the end of this year.

On the occasion, Shri Agnihotri also stressed on taking a stern action against drug peddling and directed to close all the liquor vends adjacent to the schools so that the children could get a healthy environment for education. The teachers and parents must make efforts to introduce school children to their culture and values so that they can play an important role in nation building in future, he added.

Later, the Deputy CM also honored the meritorious students.

School Principal Sandeep Agnihotri welcomed the Deputy CM and other dignitaries and presented the annual report of the school.

The school children also presented the Cultural programs on the occasion.

SDM Haroli Vishal Sharma, Deputy Director Elementary Devendra Chandel, School MD Sukhdev Dutt, District President Ranjeet Rana, State Congress Secretary Satish Bittu, Block Congress President Vinod Bittu, Captain Shakti Chand were present on the occasion amongst others.
