Sunil Sharma becomes political advisor to HP CM

Shimla, Dec 11 – Sunil Sharma (Bittu) has been named as the Political advisor to HP Chief Minister, Sukhvinder Singh Sukhoo. This is the first appointment made by the new Chief Minister.

Bittu, a close friend of SS Sukhoo was also in the race for a ticket from the Hamirpur seat but could not get that due to one or the other reason. However, he has got the cabinet minister status with his new appointment.

Sharma had served as the Hamirpur district Congress president and HP Congress general secretary in his career.

Bittu is the most prominent figure among Sukhu’s loyalists.

Bittu has been most important for Sukhu even during elections. He has also been the district president of the party. Bittu was also a member of the Regulatory Commission during the previous Congress government. At that time reaching this position was a big thing in itself.
