Shimla Bulls won the first edition of Himachal Corporate Cricket League

Season 01 of Himachal’s 1st Corporate Cricket League concluded today at Police Ground Bharari where Team Shimla Bulls won the tournament. Member Secretary State Pollution Control Board IAS Apoorva Devgan presided over the program as the chief guest and honored the winning teams and best performing players.
Team Shimla Bulls won the tournament and the runner-up was Team Bar Association. Chief Guest Apoorva Degav lauded the winning teams and said that such events should be repeated. Such competitions give inspiration to working professionals from their busy lives towards comfort and health.

Organized by Shimla-based renowned cricket bat manufacturer DA Sports Factory, it was the first such tournament in Himachal which was organized exclusively for working professionals. The matches were held from 28 October to 3 November. A total of 8 teams with more than 100 players participated in this tournament, which included Hotel Association, Super Kings MR, Education Department, Health Department, Shimla Bulls, Bar Association, Legal Eagles and Shimla Knight Hawks. All these players were working professionals from various departments who took time out from their daily hectic routines for this tournament.
Venu Dewan, the founder of the organizing company DA Sports Factory, said that such matches are desperately needed in this busy world, especially for the workforce. DA Sports Factory has been continuously organizing such tournaments to guide youth as well as elders toward sports and fitness activities.
