Vote for BJP to strengthen nation: HP CM
2 min readHamirpur, Nov 3 – HP Chief Minister, Jai Ram Thakur said Thursday there was a need to bring BJP to power for the second consecutive time in the state to strengthen the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and to ensure speedier development and terror free environment.
While addressing an election meeting in favour of party candidate Narendra Thakur at Lambloo kaswa Thursday , Thakur said Hamirpur had been a stronghold of the BJP and its importance was even greater in terms of politics. “Therefore, in the current assembly elections, the party needs the support of the people in all the five assembly segments”.
Thakur said the BJP and development were two faces of the same coin and as such there was a need for the BJP governments all over India including Himachal Pradesh.
He said Congress has not given anything to Himachal and a party that was giving ten guarantees to the people had no guarantee of itself. The Congress is a sinking ship and will be out of the national scene after the current Vidhan Sabha and later on Lok sabha elections.
Jai Ram Thakur said the Congress leaders, who have set out on a yatra, after the election results, will also go on a similar journey to tell the people that they were still alive.
He said the BJP was a party of masses and would continue to work for their well-being and welfare.
He gave a clarion call to the people to rally behind the BJP and vote en-masse in favour of party candidates all over the state including Hamirpur.
