HP: 2 die in under-construction shuttering collapse

Kullu, Oct 6 – Two people died after a shuttering collapsed in Banjar Subdivision of Kullu district in Himachal Pradesh here today.

A district disaster Management authority spokesperson confirmed that victims workers were unloading the shuttering from outside the filter tank of the Jal Shakti Department at Banjar Thursday afternoon.

Removing iron rids, its plates fell on two people due to which both persons were injured and both were taken to Banjar Hospital by 108 ambulance, where the doctor declared them brought dead.

The deceased have been identified as Mithun Rishidev son Katilal and Vishwa Rishidev son Tej Narayan, resident Sanusuiya, Post Office Manora, Tehsil Bhayakanki, North Dinapur, West Bengal. According to the information, both of them used to work with a contractor of the Jal Shakti Department.

Police have taken the bodies for postmortem.
