Cyber Gang Busted By Shimla Police

In a joint operation, Shimla Police’s Cyber Cell and P.S Baluganj has busted a cyber gang that used to dupe people online. The fraud came to light when a local lady filed a complaint at P.S West. She said that she was offered an online job and asked to register herself with the company on the given link. After registration, she got a message of debit of Rs 36000/- from her savings account.

A case under section 420 IPC was registered. Thereafter, a team was constituted to investigate the matter. Technical inquiry revealed that the culprits were operating from Noida. The culprits Neeraj Bhati and Shyam Kasana have been arrested by Noida. Section 66D of IT Act has also been added against them. Further investigation is going on.
