29^th Himachal Pradesh Children’s Science Congress (HPCSC)

Himachal Pradesh Council for Science, Technology & Environment (HIMCOSTE) has been involved in science popularization programmes since its inception in 1986. The HIMCOSTE has a wide outreach through Science Popularization programmes. About 21,896 (Twenty-one thousand eight hundred ninety-six) child scientists across the state registered in Children’s Science Congress programme this year.

This year, due to prevailing pandemic, the HIMCOSTE is organizing 29^th Himachal Pradesh Children’s Science Congress through video conferencing/ online mode. The HPCSC has already been completed up to District level. About 550 students across the state are participating in the event w.e.f. 28^th December to 31^st December, 2021. During the congress, scientific project report, science activity corner, maths Olympiad, science quiz and innovative science model would be organized for the 6^th – 12^th class students.

The four days 29^th Himachal Pradesh Children’s Science Congress will be inaugurated by Sh. Sudesh Kumar Mokhta, Director, Department of Environment, Science & Technology-cum-Member Secretary, HIMCOSTE. The activities under the programme would start after the inauguration of the event.
